Logo Design

Brand Development
Just getting started? I can help!
Your logo is the visual representation of your brand so OF COURSE it's a big deal to you! It's a big deal to me, too. I love getting to know your business so I can make something that represents what you bring to the table. I love working with small businesses because it's super rewarding for me to see people start from scratch and then have their business grow over the years. At least half of my clients are people who hired me to design their logo when all they had was a business license and an idea, and now we get to work together on other projects as their businesses grow. If you business is your baby, then I'm the proud auntie.
What is the process?
Typically when people are starting a business, I create a logo for them and then do a brief little branding guide with color codes, recommended fonts, and any logo alternates needed so they have a roadmap when they are putting together things like a website where that kind of info would be helpful.

I charge off of an hourly rate rather than a flat fee so that we aren't limited by a number of revisions.

Typically I start by getting a feel for your business, what kind of look you are going for, and how you plan on using the logo. It may be helpful to create a moodboard on Pinterest, but if that seems intimidating, don't sweat it.

Once I feel like I have an idea of the direction to take, I’ll make a page of concepts for you to look over, and then we talk over what you like and what ideas you want to scrap, as well as other ideas like “can we take the color scheme from x and apply it to the concept from y”.

From there I take your feedback to create a single concept that I can finesse until it’s perfect. You get whatever files formats you need (usually it’s a vector file, jpeg for social media and clear background .pngs) and then alternate color schemes, logo alternates, etc as well as your brand guide. All in all this typically takes 2-3 weeks.

If this is something you want to get a quote for, drop me a line!
